Montefiore Home is administered by an elected Board of Management. Board members have a diverse range of skills and experiences including legal, medical and financial backgrounds. All Board members act in a voluntary capacity and are responsible for overseeing the Home’s operations, maintaining corporate governance and strategic planning.
The Board is responsible for the continuing financial viability of the Home. Around 40% of the residents are unable to cover their own cost of care. Sound management and generous donations from the community allow these residents to enjoy the same care as full fee paying residents.
