Tom Mautner, Hon Treasurer

Tom has an extensive history in the clothing industry, with a lengthy career as General Manager of Peter Weiss Pty. Ltd. In more recent times he manufactured apparel under the Pringle of Scotland Label, and continues to maintain a close association with Peter Weiss.

He was elected to the Board in 2001 and took on the important role of Treasurer in 2004. He is also an active member of the Home’s Development Committee, Operations and Quality Committee, Finance Committee and Investment Committee.

Tom was born in Czechoslovakia in 1950 and migrated to Australia in 1969. He and his wife Rose are long time supporters of many Jewish Organisations such as the JCA, Moriah College, Shalom Insitute and of course Montefiore.

Both Tom's late mother and late father-in-law were Residents of Montefiore Home. Tom and his wife Rose have two daughters, Jacqui and Simonne.
