Ruth Lilian, OAM, AMM

Ruth has been associated with the Montefiore Home for many years and joined the Board of Management in 1998.

Ruth has been working in the conference and event management industry for thirty-five years and in 2008 was awarded an Order of Australia for her services to the Meetings and Events Industry, professional medical organisations and the Jewish community, through Montefiore Home, National Council of Jewish Women and Maccabi.

Ruth has been associated with a number of industry bodies – Meetings and Events Australia where she is currently Vice Chair of the National Board and has achieved the accreditation of Meetings Manager. Ruth also sits on the Tasmanian Convention and Visitors Bureau Board and maintains committee positions on a number of communal organisations and women’s groups.
