Renee Symonds

Renee was elected to the Board in 2001, already being an active member of the Operations Committee.

In her years as a Board member she has written papers, presented at Conferences on aspects of aging, dementia and aspects of placing one’s relative in The Home and life within The Home.

She was instrumental in setting up the Staff Holocaust Awareness Program for Montefiore staff members after observing the need for staff to be trained to deal with the special requirements of survivors. As a child of two Holocaust Survivors, this is very close to her heart.
