Professor Henry Brodaty AO
Professor Henry Brodaty AO MB BS MD DSc FRACP FRANZCP is an internationally recognised authority on ageing and dementia. He is Professor of Age Care Mental Health, University of New South Wales; Director, Aged Care Psychiatry and Head of the Memory Disorders Clinic, Prince of Wales Hospital; Director of the Primary Dementia Collaborative Research Centre and has served on several NSW and Commonwealth committees related to ageing and dementia. He is the past chairman of Alzheimer’s Disease International, and past president of Alzheimer’s Australia and Alzheimer’s Australia (NSW); has published over 200 papers and book chapters; is on the editorial board of several journals and has received numerous important awards.
As a Montefiore Ambassador, Professor Brodaty’s vast experience, expertise and insight enhances the Montefiore Home’s ability to provide the highest standards of care and quality of life to its Residents.

The Hon. Malcolm Turnbull MP
The Hon. Malcolm Turnbull MP, Minister for the Environmant and Water Resources, is one of Australia’s most distinguished politicians and business leaders. After leaving law practice in 1987, building a high profile as successful businessman and merchant banker.
In 1997 Malcolm was elected to attend the Australian Constitutional Convention, leading the republican case. As Chair of the Menzies Research Centre, Malcolm has initiated numerous important policy and research projects, including in the field of health and ageing.
Malcolm was elected as the Federal Member for Wentworth at the general election in October, 2004 and appointed Minister for the Environment and Water Resources in January 2007. As a Montefiore Ambassador, his support for the well-being of the aged members of the community is of great value to the Home and its work. |
