David Gonski AO

David Michael Gonski is one of Australia's most distinguished business leaders and corporate citizens, recognised for his service to the education and the arts through charitable support and the development of policy initiatives and to business, law, commerce and the community through philanthropic activities. He was appointed to the Order of Australia as an Officer (AO) in 2002 and received the Centenary Medal in 2003. David is chairman of Investec Wentworth and Coca-Cola Amatil Limited and a director and adviser to leading commercial and government organisations. He is also Chancellor of the University of New South Wales, Chairman of the UNSW Foundation, President of the Art Gallery of New South Wales Trust and Chairman of Sydney Grammar School. As a Montefiore Ambassador, David has given his unstinting support to the Montefiore Home and its work in caring for the aged of our community.
