David Freeman AM, President
David has played a leading role in Jewish Communal affairs for almost three decades.
While pursuing a successful career as a partner in the law firm Abadee Dresdner & Freeman, David oversaw the conversion of the Wolper Jewish Hospital from a convalescent facility to a modern surgical hospital and served as Honorary Solicitor to the Jewish Communal Appeal for 15 years.
In 1985 he joined the Montefiore Board; served as Vice President for 8 years and was elected President in 2004. As Chairman of the Development Committee, David Freeman was responsible for planning, design and completion of the Randwick Home in 2006.
David has two grown-up children, Marc and Camilla.
