Communications Manager
This exciting and rewarding role will help drive the marketing and communications strategy
on behalf of our dynamic organisation in addition to providing significant opportunity for
your professional and personal development. This is a multi-faceted, hands-on position
managing communications to a diverse body of stakeholders including our membership
and donor base, maximising their involvement and support.
You will be an experienced Communications Coordinator/Officer that ideally has existing
relationships with organisations and media within the Jewish community. It is crucial
that you are a passionate, strategic communicator with an eye for detail and excellent
people-skills. An enthusiastic, ‘can-do attitude’ is a must, as is the ability to work
effectively within a team. To be considered for this role, you should have:
• A degree in communications, public relations or journalism
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a corporate communications, marketing,
PR or media-related role
• A working knowledge of DTP and digital photography
• Excellent writing and communication skills – with an adaptable style to suit
a variety of audiences
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task; working both
autonomously and collaboratively as needed
• The ability to cope with the pressures of a fast paced and challenging
environment
