Montefiore supports ‘ageing in place’ whereby we endeavour to continue to provide a Resident’s care needs within their existing environment wherever possible. At times, it is appropriate to transfer a Resident to another part of the Home, such as from Hostel to Nursing Home, or to our Special Care Unit. This is always done in consultation with the Resident, their relatives and their medical and care team.
